			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In some circles, LPG Autogas is seen as a stepping stone to the hydrogen economy.</p>
<p>A fair point; however, industry believes it will be some 15 years till it becomes a practical option, though the technology is progressing rapidly.  <span id="more-19"></span>LPG Autogas on the other hand is with us already.  The infrastructure is already in place with some 1,400 filling stations available to the public.  Some businesses have added their own facilities.</p>
<p>The technology has matured to a level where performance of a LPG powered car equals that of a petrol/diesel vehicle.  This has led to some aftermarket dealers being able to service LPG Autogas vehicles for fleets and training vehicles.</p>
<p>Below are some possible uses and benefits of LPG Autogas:</p>

<li>A local parcel company who has access to its own private filling station;</li>
<li>Significant savings for business clients compared with public pump prices;</li>
<li>Satellite navigation for locating nearby LPG Autogas stations to all drivers;</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Increased sales in diesel cars have seen growing concerns in PM10 levels, plus a range of other pollutants which is causing great concern in urban areas.  Due to this, we have seen increased levels in respiratory conditions such as asthma.</p>
<p>Around the world, <span id="more-16"></span>more than 10 million vehicles use LPG autogas.  South Korea has the most with more than 1.7 million.  The UK has some way to go with more than 128,000 vehicles (though less than 1% of the world&#8217;s total of LPG vehicles, it accounts for some 0.2% of the UK&#8217;s 35 million registered vehicles).</p>
<p>With reducing your carbon footprint a part of everyday life, it is only natural to do so away from home as well as in the home.  At home we are quite happy to insulate our humble abode with double glazing and cavity wall insulation, though more reticent when it comes to our car.</p>
<p>For the home, the main reason is lower fuel bills.  This too is applicable with LPG converted vehicles.</p>
